I got a Cade aquarium that came with a mesh lid. It fits well, but not when I want to mount things like lights. It did come with extra fittings, but it looks to me like only the corners come apart so I'm not sure what the expected method is for using the extra fittings to customize around...

I've been in and out of the hobby my whole life, and I'm currently running a 9-gallon (8-gallon total water volume) Fluval Flex. I keep SPS, and they're growing out of control with no room to put any more. I've had this tank for about 4 years and it’s been in 3 different apartments at this...
I am planning on ordering a Cade 1800 peninsula.
After all the bad things about Red Sea I’ve only had eurobraced tanks in the past.
Should I be nervous about rimless especially 220g+ like the Cade peninsula is?
Hi folks,
I'm from Melbourne, Australia and have just started a new aquarium build. I thought I'd document my journey. I never ever thought I'd be able to afford one of these bad boys, but luck was on my side and I came across this Cade 2100 on Facebook Marketplace for dirt cheap and couldn't...

Considering leaving the hobby and selling complete setup. It's all high end equipment and spent over 15K to get it going. Just seeing if there is a market for the whole thing as a package or if I should just drain it and sell off the pieces.

...have a refugium or a skimmer?
All other things being equal, in an SPS dominated 60-70 gallon cube system, if you only had room for one, would you prefer a skimmer or a fuge, and why?
I normally group all of my tanks into one chaotic rambling build thread which you can find over at SaltwaterandLime's epic adhd build thread.... but because of the added excitement of this tank i thought it deserved its own thread.
This past weekend my husband and I attended reefapalooza...

Hi all, setting up my first reef, a 4 foot peninsula. There’s not one dominant viewing side, all 3 sides are equally important. Wanted a sloping look from the end on view. Planning on having some LPS on the sand bed on the long sides. Trying to keep that in mind and create areas with lower...
Cade Owners - what filter socks are you using in your Cade? The stock 100 micron mesh is decent, but I want to use felt as the mesh is letting more through then I like.
I’m suspecting that the Cade sock holder is non-standard as I can’t find a felt sock that fits. The socks won’t seat properly...
So, this is my first reef tank. I don't have a catchy name for it yet. This is something I've been thinking about doing for 20 years or so, having bought books about reef tanks, before the days of high speed internet. I came very close to pulling the trigger several times. I have been moving...
The problem: I have a 4 foot CADE peninsula, will back up to a wall with shiplap. Hanging lights from ceiling not an option (open to 2nd floor above). I was planning on using ReeFi Uno 2 lights, 2 units. I don't have them in-hand, but they weigh 2.2 pounds each according to their website. I...
Big things are happening!
My ultimate end goal with this tank is an SPS dominate mixed reef that’s as stable, automated, and low maintenance as possible. Easier said than done, certainly.
The tank Has arrived! Now to sort out a way to get in place and on the stand……
IM BACK! Late 2020 I sold my home and tank in NY and moved at VA in search for a better life. I don't have many hobbies so Ive been counting the days until I could get another tank. Through my reefing career I've had a 150, 50, and 29 Gallon reef tank each one was better than the last but had...
I’m a couple of months out from a tank upgrade and am settling on the Cade 1500 peninsula.
I’d like more wiggle room inside the stand (for a skimmate locker, acrylic basin with a spill/leak sensor and redundancy) and am wondering if any Cade owners have opted to swap out the standard sump for...
We used to keep a 180l custom cube tank and three Nano tanks in the UK. One as a mixed reef, one as a seahorse tank and one with an awesome longhorn cowfish called Frank (he was awesome!)... 12 years later have moved to Australia and haven't tried to keep any fish since then.
So one boring...
Hey all,
I am lucky enough to have purchased a brand new Cade 1200 S2. I ordered it some weeks ago, I haven’t received a tracking number yet. I plan to do a fully aqua-cultured tank. I think it would be cool to show off what a large variety of marine life we now have access too.
I plan to run...
My new build...
I'm setting up this new build thread to cover my upgrade journey (and beyond) from my 70 gallon Artisan II Cadlight to my new CADE 1500s2 Peninsula that I picked up a la @AlgaeBarn a few weeks ago. I'll try to be as detailed as I hopefully was in my previous thread —which is...
New Cade 2100 finally in the house.
Cable and dosing line management going on inside, and mixing station happening in the garage. The tank will be going up against the grey wall.
Ikea cabinet came up a treat in the garage. Still plenty to do but it's taking shape.
