I have this same setup (although running on a pi 3 a+) but didn't have the doser setup, which I do now. Does the light change even when your not using the doser? If you can provide more details as to what you are seeing I will see if I see the same issue. Which version of #reefpi are you running?

Set up a couple of fans controlled by #reefpi for moving air through drawer and cabinet.
Set up dosing once corals have been...

...need to re-do my moon lights and make them more permanent and clean up the wiring. I am using jst-sm connectors just like I have on my latest #reefpi build, requires you to have a crimper but once you do and the connectors you can make any jumper that is needed. Using back to back connectors...
Latest pics, still working on #reefpi and cabling the stand, here are some pics of my cabling ideas so far. Since I am going to have an upper drawer to house stuff I wanted some kind of cable arm for the cables to feed the drawer and not hang down, I think it will work fine, may have to tweak...
Instead of starting another thread in the DIY section I am going to document my #reefpi build here also. This will be my second reef-pi build, I have one controlling 2 of my freshwater tanks and has been running over a year chugging along. For my new reef tank I will be building one taking...
...part. First reef build will be a 29G nano reef do to the available space, I have a couple of small freshwater tanks which I built a #reefpi to control the lights, heaters and more. The more I read the more I wanted to give it a go. First thing to do was to build my stand, built it to fit a...
You really don’t have to ask question in the main thread. You can ask question in separate thread/post and tag it with #reefpi to get our attention. Worst case, if you don’t get attention, just at mention us.
Coming back to your question. Yes.
OK, ReefPi update:
I was able to build and configure my ReefPi, it is currently bench testing the dosing right now.
Here is the Zero underneath of ML Reefkeepings Goby HAT.
The HAT is powered by a 12v wall wart in and the 5v is coming from the same wall wart, but the buck converted above the...

However, they have a tcp api. So, does anyone have #reefpi using a tcp interface? especially as a macro? I figure I might want a 'major maintenance' macro that turns down pumps/etc, but also dims the...
...very professional. How are the corals adjusting to the new lighting?
Also another question based on reading some of your notes from your #reefpi build. For the Hiletgo relay board you wired up it needs both DC+ and DC-. How did you get the DC- (GND) over to the outlet box? It looks...
I was able to put in another bit last night after the kiddos went to bed. #reefpi

...I cleaned the old ones when I pulled the cover for another thread to help someone else out, but they still made a noise afterward.
Tonight, I will be adding the PWN board from ML Reefkeeping, while changing the fans out. Super excited to get my #reefpi off to actually controlling something.
...term, this will get moved to the new big reef and become a full-fledged controller, including controlling maxspect gyres, DC return pumps, 4 black box lights, the refugium light, skimmer, you get the idea.
I hope to contribute to the source code for reef pi as well, plus...I have ideas :)...
Ordered my #reefpi Goby and a pwm adapter for my light from @Michael Lane last night.
Yesterday my bionic was delivered and I dosed my first 20ml to start bringing the alkalinity up.
I will have a cups joe here and then test it and modify.
Me too Paul, ordered it last nigh. The pi zero is up and cooking but I believe I will grab another pi 3 b to run my tank.
I will be adding my #reefpi build to my tank page so as to have a place for reference of my own setup. I feel like a kid before Christmas.
...somewhere in my FW Fish Room.
In addition to all of this I've started to gather some current hardware to get back into my side project of #reefpi so I'll be digging into that a little more with hopes to do some testing of my take on it on this tank. Some key things I'd like to work towards...
