Holy mackerel! Wow! So glad you guys caught it in time! Big hugs from Reef2reef! That had to be scary!
Water changes, GAC and like you said possible Polyfilter ASAP!
Do you have a backup for a light or will the ATI fixture still work?
Edit: probably not a good idea to use the light...
...wiki where we could pour everything into one location and have easy access and updates. This will help get things going, once I have things working I will post the details and hopefully it will only get better and better and be a useful resource for anyone wanting to go down the #reefpi...
...Here are some updated pics:
Placed an outlet high with light along with low voltage chase:
Viparspectra with moon lights controlled via #reefpi see @Michael Lane for build thread - https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/controlling-viparspectra-lights.698216/

...I occasionally get a bright, fluorescent pink spot (leaning toward orange). But it doesn't get big and it goes away if I take the rock out of the water and dry it out. I suspect it's alive. Maybe a type of coraline algae, but that's purely a guess.
Let's gett some other opinions. #reef squad
@ShepherdReefer
If you do #reef squad or #MODS your thred will go to all the members of the reef squad or to the moderators so they can follow up on it.
Also doing @Ron Reefman or @anybody's screen name and they will get an alert and a link to that post.
...white and one cool white (each on the outside). My tank doesn't have water in it (thats coming very soon) and I am not controlling yet with #reef-pi, just wanted to see what these look like at 100%. Light is right above the tank which is a 29G tank.
Couple of pictures, eye level then below...

Your numbers look OK.
What PAR are your lights running at during peak hours? And for how long?
What sps corals have you been trying?
What lps corals do you have that are doing well?
An off the wall idea, but what is your pH?

So, at 72hr mark. It seems to be 75% better. Rock work has cleared up etc. But sand bed persists.
I did a large water change prior to first dose. Sucked out as much as possible, aswell as sucked off rock work etc.
Would you do a second dose?
Did large 20% water change...
I currently have three different #reefoctopus skimmers running on different systems. I think that the Reef Octopus Regal 150S will work fine on the 80g. I have a RO 150 classic running on a 55g plus sump and it works well. I also have a RO Essence 130 on a 75g plus sump. The great thing...
...new job. I will update on design changes but have gone a more traditional method and used a more robust and error proofed controller setup from reef-pi
I did a 45 minute build of a new reef-pi controller... I am just so comfortable with with the Pi and setup process it was an easy decision...
Also, I picked up a used black box LED and the @Michael Lane Mars Aqua adapter to go with my #reef-pi
With Michael's help, I managed to get the drivers wired in (turns out my driver is using pwm directly, so it took some creative wiring, yay for "vendor" support!). However, I think I ended up...
...and a new one forming, too! The torch seems fine, but again, not too dramatic.
I bought a new 165w black box light (used no name) from another reefer in the area who now has a kessil AP700. I'm waiting for @Michael Lane to get the Mars Aqua adapters back in stock so I can get my #reef-pi to...
...out other peoples tank build threads and see how others have done things. My builds are kind of outside the norm.
As for being old... I think of it as excess experience! And I'm fairly sure I'm the oldest member of the #reefsquad at 70. And I'm just setting up a new 90g tank that I built myself!
Just bought some temperature sensors for my reef-pi that should arrive tomorrow! hoping Tuesday evening I can hook them up. I'm not quite patient enough to put together a secondary waterproofing solution :/ I'll stick two in the tank and one on the wall as an ambient sensor. I think I'm going to...
Probably a silly question, but when putting rocks out in the sun to cure/dry do you need to protect them from the rain and stuff? Or do you just leave them outside for a couple weeks, elements be danged?
