The Optimal Light Spectrum in a Reef Aquarium

Pros: good explanation
Good explanations, but I'm not sure about the conclusion. If it was true the most blue lights and less of the others, would get the best growth results, but that isn't the case. Take the case of the halides lights, the lights that produce the best growth were since ever the light with the lower kelvins the 6500k not the 20000k , the light with the most green yellow and red. This light comes also the closest to what is the spectrum in the nature. We are thinking that we can do better than mother nature, but the reality show us the contrary. I just switched back from radions+ t5 to halides , because the results we ok but much less than halides, the corals responded immediately positively to the switch.
