This is a great write up as I am planning the same but with 24" fixture and Kessil light. Would you consider adding in a side/top angle view of the setup?
Great write up! I never thought of using those pieces in the back to raise and lower the lights...we'll done. I made my bracket over my 180 a few years ago and what I had originally done was secured 2 x 6ft lengths horizontally and secured the Hydra52 lights directly to that. I have since gotten a 60" Aquatic Life hybrid fixture that I just lay across the top.
