I have had these zoas for a couple months and they don’t extend. About a week ago I lowered the lights down a fair bit to see if they would react but no they stayed the same. Does anyone know why they won’t extend at all. (I turned the lights up higher in the pic so you could see it properly)

The importance of stability in the reef tank includes lighting as well as nutrients.
Zoas can adapt to a range of lighting levels (within reason). However, trying to force them to extend with low light and then turning them up for a photo isn't going to help them get settled.
How is the flow on them?
