Finally, it seems there is a cure for this & just in time! My colony of green meanies were starting to look poorly & then I saw the dreaded pox. I've been following the thread on this at RC for about a year now--just in case. Did my 1st treatment today. Taking pics before & after each treatment.

I'd still like to know what causes my smaller zoas to close up, turn brown & waste away, though. :(

Well, so far, not so good. I took them out for a 2nd dip & they smelled like DEATH! I took a soft toothbrush & brushed off all the dead, smelly tissue & dipped again.

Before 2nd dip (after brushing off the dead stuff):

I've been checking every night, after my other zoas have closed. I'm sooooo paranoid it's contageous. Non others seem infected.

Here are my Green meanies before their 3rd treatment:

I'll give them a few days & take more pics. Sure hope I've saved them. It'll be a while before they look like the above pic though.

It's a royal PIA. I had to deal with it for a while. Lost alot of polyp count but did not lose the zoas. I had enough of the ones that were infected that I have them still. Wierd thing is my mean greens were the first ones to show signs of it. I wonder if they are the weakest. Anyway, i thought it was all gone only to see it happen again a month later. But i caught it early and did only one treatment.

Furan2 works well.
