Do zoas palys prefer a LOWER flow during a certain period?

Do they prefer lower lighter flow during the peak of light intensity OR in the middle of darkness when they're closed up?

Or do they prefer steady medium flow to keep debris off their discs 24/7?

.

Moderate light and water flow. Many zoa do best in low/blue lighting

Zoas inhabit areas of marine environment close to shore (littoral), many dwell in tidal pools or in areas exposed to high flow at least temporarily, many live in lagoons with lower flow, some live in deeper waters. Invariably what flow they like and when, depends where they are from. I attached one colony close to powerhead and despite high flow, they thrive there.
