Could I put a yellow watchman goby pistol shrimp pair in a 10 gallon? I know they recommend a 20-30 gallon but I was wondering if I can still do it with a 10 gallon fishtank.

Do you think I would be able to put a pair of clownfish or a neon goby with randall's pistol shrimp pair?Personally I’d opt for a smaller species of shrimp goby + a Randall’s (candy cane) pistol shrimp.
Most of the stonogobiops and amblyeliotris species would work.
I’ve seen some full grown ywg at the lfs…they get huge.
I started out 15 gallon tank a teensie baby pistol shrimp, with a tiny baby ywg, and a baby pair of clowns since I was planning on upgrading within the year, 0/10 would not do again, figured I could do big water changes weekly and all would be fine nutrient wise and while that helped I struggled so hard with that tank, big water changes = big alk swings from the salt I used and sadness all around. upgraded and it became much easier! Go slow, keep minimal fish, and if you upgrade do the same the stress isn't worth it!Do you think I would be able to put a pair of clownfish or a neon goby with randall's pistol shrimp pair?
