HI,

I have two XHO Actinic Blue that I want run with two T5 bulbs. For the T5 I am looking at the Reef Brite Luminary Series.

Which two T5 bulbs would pair up well with the XHO?

I was thinking an Actinic and either a 50/50 or Full Spectrum 10,000K. Maybe get both the 50/50 and Full Spectrum to see which is more visually appealing?

Any user experience with the Luminary Series T5 bulbs would also be appreciated. My search results didn't really turn up much on them.

Thank you

I can’t picture how blue those xho actinic are.

So, depends how blue you want, but, I would consider the ATI coral+, and maybe a purple+. Or both coral+.

I’ll take a look at what you requested since I’m not familiar.

I have the XHOs hanging on a four bulb ATI, which currently has two Blue+, Actinic and a Coral+. I just added the second XHO to the back of the fixture, and stopped running the Blue+. When I had the single XHO and all four bulbs I was running the XHO at 70% and the fixture at 11" to get my target PAR of 120-130 on the sand. With the second XHO and two bulbs I have both XHOs at 100% and the fixture at 8" to get that same PAR.

I bought the fixture used and not exactly sure how old the bulbs are, so I'm looking at replacements. While on the Reef Brite site I came across their T5 bulbs and was curious about possibly giving them a try.
