marine depot had really nice union ball vales for $60 on sale for $15. both sides were unions. I bought them and they are great. they are schedule 40 but very well built. you can still put schedule 80 pipe in them. Not sure if they are still on sale

Look at Amazon too. Found my schedule 80 gates there for about $15.
