Ordered 30 pounds of ocean rock. It was pulled yesterday and shipped at 4PM and was at my house by 9AM today. The life that these Starter Aquacultured Live Rock have is outstanding. Please help with ID. We have them sitting in water with heater and flow in a Brute until I can get home from work. Then they will go in a tank and we will watch them until next week. I couldn't be more thrilled!!! We will post pictures as more critters continue to crawl out.

Pic 1 - lots going on here, but I see a sponge (harmless) for sure.
Pic 2 - brittle star (harmless).
Pic 3 - not sure (you may need a better pic for this one).
Pic 4 - bristle worm (harmless, but it has spines, so be careful picking it up).
Pic 5 - looks like it's probably another brittle star (if so, harmless).
Pic 6 - brittle star (harmless).
Movie 1 & Movie 2 - pistol shrimp (harmless).
Movie 3 - brittle star (harmless).
Movie 4 - mantis shrimp (this one should probably be kept in its own tank/in your sump; mantis shrimp are predatory and - depending on if its a spearer or a smasher - may kill either your fish, your inverts, or possibly both).

Photo one is a sponge, they are harmless i have a ton on my rock. Second is a bristle star which are usually harmless but there are green bristle stars the can get big and can attack small fish if they get to big, third looks like a crab molt or dead crab imo, fourth is a bristle worm i would just remove them because the can get out of hand if you over feed and there bristles can hurt you if you touch them. Last two photos are bristle stars. Videos aren’t working for me. Mine had 2 annoying pistols a mantis and a few gorilla crabs so make sure you put the rock in a separate container before you put it in your DT so you can remove them in case you got any.
