Would a 3-4" undulated triggerfish get along with a 3-4" niger triggerfish?

IMO, undulated triggers are one of the meanest of the group, and niger are the most mellow (aside from the pelagic Xanthichthys species). I wouldn't try it. Besides, it will just grow larger and meaner.

There are two "blue spot puffers" Canthigaster (pretty mellow) and sometimes Arothron melegris is called that (more aggressive).

I love triggers and undulates are among my favorite BUT they can be MEAN.
The damage triggers can inflict is pretty remarkable.
I had one many years ago and I had to remove it as it killed a few of my fish.

I would not trust an undulated with a clownfish. Some people find that as these mature, they really cannot be kept with anything else.

I saw an undulated trigger kill a larger titan trigger at a pet shop. They are one of those fish that usually don’t play nice with others.

Whoa - I thought titans were even meaner than undulates!

I have had several undulatus triggers. They do not get along with anything and need their own tank. If you haven’t purchased this then take a pass.
