Kinda do but they move fast for slugs...Those are new to me. They look like terrestrial slugs.
Cerith snail larvae? Do they have a larval stage?I am going to guess they are a larvae of something. Maybe snail larvae.
It seems they are eating the diatoms or biofilm on the glass. I do siphon the sand every week aswell as cleaning my canister filter. With a 15% water change.Similar to detritus worms, they are nematodes. If you see them, time to siphon more often and also cut back in food quantity as they are like eating leftovers and detritus
Ok I will try to siphon more often.Similar to detritus worms, they are nematodes. If you see them, time to siphon more often and also cut back in food quantity as they are like eating leftovers and detritus
Ok there is a colony. I estimate about 500. I thought they might be nematodes aswell or rhabdocoela. If there’s not a colony of them, maintain the cleaning schedule you have now.
Do you think they are parasitic nematodes? If there’s not a colony of them, maintain the cleaning schedule you have now.
This is someone else's picture. You would be able to see a shell if it's cerith.Cerith snail larvae? Do they have a larval stage?
And if you have hundreds. Probably parasitic.Do you think they are parasitic nematodes?
