I did a bit of digging and it kinda looks like a spaghetti wormlooks like a bristleworm.. Good guy but some people don't like them because of what they look like.
While the body does look like a bristle worm, ive never see appendages like that coming from the mouth of a standard bristle worm. Maybe someone else can chime in with some more direct info.
Those appendages coming from the mouth lean me more toward the eunicid worm family.
While I agree that is a good place to start, the appendages on this worm have joints. Spaghetti worms dont.I did a bit of digging and it kinda looks like a spaghetti worm
Yeah Its got be puzzled for sure, but I am leaning towards spaghetti as well.At one point I see dorvillidae but then I see spaghetti ??

Oh yes, this is a pasketti worm. Much easier to see in these pics.
I've seen these tentacles 2 months ago but never cared much for it until i saw the worm today
So are they friend or foe. He's probably been here for 2-3 months and I don't see any dmg on the gsp.Oh yes, this is a pasketti worm. Much easier to see in these pics.

Those are some long butt tentaclesSpaghetti worms are harmless cuc.
Also a good indicator, is the bad worms for the most part are smart, it would never reveal itself after you removing the gsp and shining a light on it.Spaghetti worms are harmless cuc.
Agree!I dont like too many but one hitchhiker allowed in my tanks and eats uneaten food and detritus
That worm could be a syllidae sp. Which is hard to say.. Reef safe? We dont 100% know. But most if them are probably detravoresSaw this in my gsp. Looks like some type of worm, does anyone know what it is?
I mean I saw his tentacles like 3 months ago and my tank seems to still be ok. GSP is doing really good tooThat worm could be a syllidae sp. Which is hard to say.. Reef safe? We dont 100% know. But most if them are probably detravores
