Honestly, it looks like it may be a Chloeia species, though I can't say for sure. Does the worm have little, black, dots or hair-like spikes jutting out from its back near the top of each tuft of bristles?

Yeah, none of the species I've found have looked quite right - the spotting on the back, the numerous visible gills (branchiae), and the unpaired, large tufts of bristles (chaetae) are all pretty unique though.Not as far as i could tell and it didn't look like any of the images i saw labeled as Chloela I haven't seen it since I took the pictures. When i first spotted it i thought it might be a nudibranch until i got a closer look and realized those were bristles and not cerata.
