Hi y'all! Just got back into the hobby after selling my Red Sea Max Nano a year ago and switching to planted tanks (reverse transition lol). Freshwater got really boring for me quickly so decided to hop back in to the salty world!

I was fortunate enough to snag a 1-yr old Red Sea Reefer 170 with equipment for cheap and just started my cycle last weekend. Here's how my tank looked like hours after it was set-up:

I plan on running a mixed reef tank and will stock the following:

2x Clownfish
1x Banggai Cardinal
1x Yellow Wrasse
1x Diamond Goby
1x Cleaner Shrimp

Hoping to learn more from y'all!

Welcome to the reef! That is a sweet setup! Love the Apex display! I’m jealous!
Thanks! I was actually planning on giving away my old Ipad Mini since the battery life has gone south but good thing I found a good way to repurpose it.
