Might someone kindly let me know if this coral has a chance of coming back?
Below are 2 pictures before and after.
I moved the tank, about 45 minutes away, on Saturday but needed to keep the rock and corals in a tote for 24 hours.
I kept them at regular temperature with a wave maker once i got home.
temperature had dropped to 66degrees because unknowingly to me the guy turned off the heater and lights the day before
Most of the coralline algae on the rock is still there but 30% is now green algae...
Everything survived except for this coral, i could not believe it.
its a 40 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump.
30% of the water is now new and the sand is all new ( except for a few cups that i put under the new crushed coral).
this morning i saw some new growth... which is giving me hope..
any thoughts?
thank you in advance
