Will Reef Flux kill any other Macro Algaes?

I have Chaeto, Red Dragon, and Codium. Hoping I am safe as this turf algae is becoming near impossible to manually pull off!

Anything that will kill GHA is going to kill your chaeto and stuff too.

It knocked my macro back pretty good. I also lost some really nice SPS that were healthy prior to dosing.

Can I just pull out all my macro algaes and store them in a stagnant water for a day? Than do a big water change after 24 hours of treatment, and than put them back in. Or should I not be doing water changes during the Flux treatment.

The undesirable algae may come back if you do that

I put my chaeto into a bucket and placed it by a window in my garage with no heater or flow for close to a month while I dosed FluxRx in my display tank. I put loosely fitting seran wrap on top to reduce evaporation. The chaeto did just fine.

Reef Flux killed all the green algae in my system, GHA, Bryopsis, Green Plaque, Chaeto. All Of It!! It nukes all green algae's.

I would never suggest using this product for ANYTHING except Bryopsis, and then only as a last resort.

Did you do the "full" recommended dose or the microdose ?

Is that because I would not be leaving the FLUX in the water column long enough if I did a water change after 24 hours ??

No because they would be on the macroalgae if you removed it and the put it back in from my understanding. Also Fluconazole needs a few weeks to work.

Exactly as package suggested, full dose. 300g display with 125g sump. It did get rid of the bryopsis, and all the other green algae and my chaeto.
I am just greatly worried about this happening because I have a nano tank and a bunch of Macro Algaes melting could possibly cause a tank crash.

Maybe try the micro dose first.
If i had to try, i will go micro dose first.
