It might be fragging itself mine do that for a day or 2 then drop a section off and perks back up and the piece that fell off grows a whole new tree
oh so it’s fragging itself i thought it was shedding or something and should i secure the frag on a frag plug

Once it gets happy it grows like a weed luckily my local fish store owner loves it every time I bring it down and it’s really easy to frag
ok so say if i wanted to frag it i can cut off a branch of it right or would it get infected or something

I would wait till it’s healthy but yea technically you can cut it I would recommend you remove it from the tank to manually cut it then give it a good rinse in saltwater with some iodine in it then dip it in some normal saltwater from your tank before putting it back in your tank.

but to be honest if you just let it grow it will start fragging itself and the stress of fragging it manually might slow it’s growth not saying it definitely will slow just an assumption
