I’ve had this hammer coral a couple of weeks and just wanted to know a few things. Firstly on some of the outer tips on the underside of the polyps there is a weird pattern, I can’t seem to get a good photo of them but does anyone have a rough idea? Secondly does anyone know why some of the polyps seem to shrink? Is this a healthy or unhealthy sign?

Can u b more specific because that hammer looks healthy but there r some things that can tell u more about its health like does it have a band of flesh going down the skeleton underneath the head also does it have baby heads sprouting at the base of that flesh band again it looks to b healthy
