Why are people advertising their radions as "mobius ready"?

Sorry for the weird question

I never understood why people add that to their for sale post.

Isnt it easy to enable mobius on a mobius compatible radion?

I dont remember it being that difficult to install and enable. I think it took me like 15-30 minutes to make it work while watching TV

I might be missing something

Thanks

Probably, because there are a group of lights that can not be upgraded to mobius. You have to look at the serial numbers. Some G3 15's can be upgraded while some G3 30's can not. Not all lights can make the black chips work. Also there is the point of some that have been converted already. Right now you can not purchase a black chip.

Gen 4s and some 3s are hit and miss with the what chip they have in them. There is a big segment of hobbyist that aren't comfortable with opening up the fixture to replace the components to make it mobius ready.

It's just a convenience thing mostly. To add, those chips were very scarce at one time. I don't know if they still are.
