I've heard a lot about the tunze safest also cause it uses float switch and a laser to detect water level

I have a Tunze as well. It is well worth the money!! As Mike said it uses a laser eye to detect the waters surface and then uses a secondary float switch in case the laser ever fails (which I have never heard of in my search for Tunze failures). It has an audible alarm if your water level gets too high also. Great product!!
