Who could have bitten my Mangrove roots

1. Yesterday I noticed that the root of one of the 3 mangrove trees was chewed by someone.
Most likely it is a tuxedo urchin (but everywhere I read, there were no such precedents), collumbelids or tomini tang also I do not think that could chew off half of the root.
I taped the spot with superglue, hopefully nothing bad will happen to them.

Haven't put urchins in yet. My mangroves are nearing 4 years old and I wasn't willing to risk them.
