White tubes coming out of my GSP?

What are these white tubes coming out of my gsp? They have small fine non colored tentacles coming out of them. They retract when white light turns on.

Should I try to break them out? Or just leave them?

I’d leave em. They are harmless and you’ll be cutting you gsp before you know it.
