White Stringy Substance on Rock

Hi, I set up my reef aquarium yesterday. It is cycling at the moment. I see that there is some white stringy substance attached to the rock. Can someone please identify what it is for me? Thank you in advance.

Not sure what would be growing in just 24 hours. Is the purple rock live rock?

Yeah I bought some cultured live rock from my lfs.

Yeah I bought some cultured live rock from my lfs.

The strings could be bacteria, diatoms or dinoflagellates. Need to get them under a microscope to tell for sure.
