white stringy film on corners of saltwater tank

Hello guys. im new here.. I recently setup a 120 gallon reef tank about a month ago. i have been noticing this white stringy film on the corners of the tank. There starting to break off and float around.. Any idea what it is.. How i can prevent it and is it harmful

Photos, a description of what you've added to the tank, light schedule, and current parameters will be helpful.
At only 1 month in, I'd be surprised if it was a sponge... Unless maybe you started with ocean live rock...?
How old is the actual aquarium (are you the first owner? If not, was is recently resealed?)
