I am a lifetime T5 user trying something new on frag tank to get my feet wet with good LED (I’ve used a Maxspect Razor that was fine but not great)

I am used to a 50/50 Coral Plus/Blue Plus look. I downloaded TSA and WWC light schedule and they are SOOOO blue.

Am I ok to run 100% all channels and then set intensity % based off PAR target? Every day I read on here that people are burning corals and need to turn down red/green/whites.

@90's reefer you’re a former halide guy, any input?
I run the radion blues over my 80.
I tried ab+ and it was too strong at 100/100.
I like my current setting. First 4 100% second 4 50% and at 75 scheduled intensity. 1hr ramp up/down and 10 hrs at peak.
I like this setting and the colors im now getting.
For reference this is my 45 frag system 36x24x12. It was halide and is now 3 16hds and getting good color and growth.
First pick about 18 months ago and today after 6+ months of led.

If you watch the BRS video on their custom spectrum it’s 50% whites. They base that spectrum on the ATI Blue Plus bulb. Maybe try their settings?

I believe @Battlecorals runs his leds all 100%.

The 16's are what got me into leds for good.
I will need 2 more xr15's for my 80 though. Currently 2 15's +2 16's.
Start low from what I have seen. I do not have a par meter but need one.
My 80g is a growout system and not much to see currently.
Just now have several corals that are looking real nice color and growth wise.
My 20g nano cube running 2 16's. I setup this system because a few people said 16's wont grow sticks.
The16's are a great light for anyone starting a small reef system, imo.

Lots of different ways. Stick to one for 6 months. I will not adjust mine from current settings as things look very good in all systems.
Biggest issue many have is changing the settings to often.
Corals can take awhile to adjust so patience is key.
