White dots and sticks - ID?

These flat white dots, about 3mm diameter at most, and little white sticks, appeared in my tank at roughly the same time. They are spread throughout.

I am thinking something from the water, or something that hitchhiked, has just decided to grow. I do have snails, but these don't look like snail eggs at all.

hmmm, I don't have limpets, but I do have chitons. They are large, 2 - 3mm spots/eggs?

Yes, I also have Nerites, so that is possible.
