The downsize is complete, and I couldn't be happier with my new AIO cube. Also the stand sits perfectly on a 18x18 tile.

Make sure you monitor ALK while dosing AFR. I found with a low calcifying load (my frags are relatively small) that the recommended dose was too high for me. I was maintaining ~8.5 with only 1.5ml/day with a 25 gallon volume - just a heads-up. I checked ALK every day for 2 weeks when dialing in. I've since added more stonies and my daily dose is now 2ml/day. Also, dunno if you are aware, but AFR raises ALK a bit more gradually than other chemicals do, so don't test right after dosing because you will not see the correct ultimate rise from that dose. I dose at lights out - when calcification should be slowing, and test ALK approximately 12 hours later before lights go on and one hour after my ATO does it's morning thing. Took awhile to dial in the dose and see what my tank was consuming. Now I can just about predict what the ALK will be most times of the day.

Thanks, that's good feedback. I hope to mitigate those issues by doing a 8 gallon weekly water change.

WhiskeyTango, can you provide some details on what you have going on beneath the tank? Is that an ATO or a refugium etc? How's the noise on the overflow? Is there room for a skimmer in the filter area? I'm interested in this build for my son. Thanks in advance

Where'd you get those containers to store your fish food and stuff?

Well Alrighty,

Very nice. Was just thinking about you.

Love all the softies, nice blue mushrooms.

Lol, listing Apitasia on stocking list.

Really sharp looking system.

Hey Tahoe! It’s been awhile. It’s good to hear from you.

oh yes, I seem to have a knack for raising Apitasia, a born natural. Lol

2 weeks with the AI Prime 16HD, I really like this light. My corals are doing great and looking good, and the Bluetooth connection is so simple and easy. I’m running UV and violet at 120, royal blue and blue at 80, green and red at 5, cool white at 20.

Glad to see everything is going well for you on this build. I'm following this build closely seeing as we share the same tank the same lights and the same state.

What's that electric blue stick coral in the top left of your last picture?

Do you like BB?

Love the cabbage coral.

The lay out of the scape is very nice. Everything looks so clean.
