Hello everyone, I've come across two designs of the Red Sea blue bucket salt, but not sure which is the current version and which is the old version. One bucket gives measurements for 35.5ppt where the alkalinity is 7.7 dKh, the other design gives measurements for 35ppt where the alkalinity is 8dKh. Help!!

This one measures 35ppt and alkalinity is 8 dKh

They changed the bucket type but its the red sea premium blend. What test kits are you using ?
This salt contains moderately elevated and balanced levels of Calcium, Magnesium, Bicarbonate. Alk reading should be higher.

I'm doing research on this salt, haven't tested measurements yet. Of the two photos that I posted, which is their new bucket design? Is it the one with the 35ppt or 35.5ppt?

You looking at 2 buckets of the same products. All the newly manufactured buckets have the screw tops. Not sure if they changed the mix at all but it should be little difference between the two especially when compared to red sea coral pro salt.
