Well........ we kinda stopped having meetings due to covid.....and never really got around to starting anything back up officially as far as I know.
Online meeting for the small meetings?? It is pretty hard to have meetings at someone house or find a reef store that will host a meeting.

A few years back we were doing the second Saturday of every month at a random house. I know zoom was tried for a little while.

...I should host but I don't want everyone to know that I clean my tanks way more often than I clean my house

LOL, thank you for the laugh.

I am not a fan of Zoom, I like Microsoft Teams better. One can stay on as long as they want and also chat during the meeting and post notes.

I’d like to meet up sometime. I like the idea of meeting in person so we can see different people’s tanks. I could host at some point but it’ll be a couple more months. I moved a few months ago (still in Ocala) and still not totally situated, though my new tank is up and running.

I’m not sure if I’m going to RAP yet but if I can make it I’m happy to meet up for breakfast or something then too.

Good morning, sorry, I don't get on R2R nearly as much as I used to.

Yeah, once Covid hit we first tried doing a Zoom meeting or two but we only had a couple people attend so we gave those up. I then took on multiple jobs and now have two kids which makes managing organizing club meetings more complicated.

I am all for having club meetings in person again but could really use someone who wants to step up and take on a leadership role in making that happen. I can still help manage the R2R presence of the club and will do a better job of being active on here again.

I’m not in a position for any real leadership either right now but maybe we can put together an invite and find a host via this board and keep it pretty informal? I am willing to host once my tank (and the rest of my house) gets settled in.

thanks!
Ed

Hi everyone. I live down in the Villages and looking for a local group that I can get involved with. Would love to come to local meetings to see other‘s systems. Mine is a WaterBox 220.6 (about 200 gallon) with mostly Acropora and Zoa’s. I’ve only had it up less than a year. All of my corals are from WWC, TSA and SBB.
