I'll admit I've lurked in this forum for quite some time. In that time, I've peered into quite a few threads, some, extravagant beyond belief! One thing I like the most about this hobby is the imagery, both fish and corals, and everyone's eagerness to share those beautiful images.

...so like the title reads, What's your one favorite thing about the hobby?

PIC's are ok with me, post-hem if ya got-hem!

I have really enjoyed creating the ecosystem then trying to fine tune my system for bottom dollar. Troubleshooting and over coming issues.
Another thing I've really enjoyed is having this forum a available. It has been a huge help and also fun to just lurk after everyone else's good work.

Fish. Angel's, triggers, puffers, & eels specifically. Insane colors & you can have a decent community.
Couldn’t tell you how many times I had family members come over and just sit and stare in front of the old tank for hours on end looking at the life within!

The willingness of fellow hobbyists to share knowledge and experience.
The internet has helped on that front and imo why the hobby has seen such progress of late
I'm with-ya on that one!!!

What has kept me in the hobby for over 30 years is the constant learning of new things and passing that knowledge on to those who show interest - both online and in person.
