I just saw this worm on my glass. It looks like detritus worms I’ve seen in freshwater tanks. Those reproduce very fast and I’d like to avoid having an infestation in my tank. This one is tiny, like a delicate piece of thread, maybe 2-3 mm long.

What type of worm is it ?

I will be adding new fish soon (75 gallons tank) so if possible, what peaceful fish would eat them ?

Thanks

Need pic in white light, Probably detritus worm. If they are, don't worry just feed your fish in less amount or slowly slowly. If u will reduce their food amount, there population will reduce. Also clean some detritus or increase the water flow. Arrow crab and mostly all fishes eats them. Most common is wrasses.
