Hi all, super excited to be making a huge upgrade from last 2 years with a 29gl I got for free off Buy Nothing to a 136gl peninsula brand new waterbox 6025.
Surprisingly, they shipped it less than 12 hours after I ordered and it arrives in just under a week from ship day. So now I need to hurry up and figure out how the hell I actually get this thing inside my house!!

Oddly, I am finding this the most stressful and intimidating part - for now.

Can anyone share what to expect after freight drops off a big tank and cabinet like this? I assume I have to take apart a crate or packaging of some kind, and once I get to the actual tank, I need about 75 people to help lift and move into my house? I have stairs to get from street curb to my house (rowhouse in the city). And I need giant suction cups? Do I rent these or have to buy them just for this one use? Just how difficult is it for a bunch of guys to carry a giant tank up stairs and not risk dropping it and destroying thousands of dollars? :)

If anybody knows of a good build thread of YT video that covers these very tactical first steps I would love to see it, already luring over every friend I have for next week but need a plan - thanks very much, really appreciated

Thanks for sharing, it is a good thread and I've read through it a few times before

Trying to figure out more the logistical side of going from an 800lb+ crate on the street to a tank in my living room

Your going tot need some friend's help, for sure. Open the crate outside and bring in the parts individually. If you have access to some heavy duty suction cups they would make it easier too.
