What the snotty hairy tubey looking almost kinda fan wormy thing might this be?

it's about a good inch long... almost looks like a feather duster being born (it was not out in the open like this, I saw it hiding in a crevice and suctioned it out to try to figure out what it was... hope if It is a feather duster I didn't hurt it, but I'd rather be safe than sorry - especially with a maggoty snotty looking whatchamacalit that only slightly resembles a feather duster at the right side)...

Sponge huh... looked more like a wee little baby cuke... but I wouldn't have a clue how the heck I'd get a baby cuke as I've not added anything in quite a while and have none

oh I see - the Scypha (pineapple) sponge... awesome - probably have a few more in the shadowy areas I guess - pretty cool (kids already call it bob)
