Okay so I get freaked out about stuff that looks like centipedes… and this NASTY thing fits that bill for sure!!! What is it? I saw it in my tank and screamed… its in a cup of tank water for now.

Does anyone pull them out of the tank when they see them or just leave them?? watched the tank after lights out and found about 6-7 of them!
I do and just pulled one at 8" I did not realize was in my tank.
Its true as some indicated - they are harmless and considered clean up crew eating detritus and uneaten food, but also scare many and undesired by many and they can populate.
Its a matter of choice on your behalf.
