I just found this in a filter sock, has some bristle ends on it. Blue legs tried to get it but then soon walked away?

I've never seen that kinda flesh in a crab although they're protected by a shell! This is one of those weird things that happens in this hobby! The shell is flexible, I've never seen anything like this!

It does look like one, now that I've got a direction to go in! Thank you! We'll see if it's around in the morning! The 2 blue legs I've observed trying to get after it shortly left it alone. I'm assuming it's alive?!

I’m moderately familiar with chitons and can usually recognize them, when they are flat and on a surface. Now that someone said curled up chiton, I can see it. You guys and gals are good!

Chiton!! I'm 100% sure it's a chiton, I usually search for these at the beach when I'm bored, I would be so happy having one but keep it If you want I guess, I love even dangerous hitchhikers.
it's a "snail" that is not a snail according to some research that I did in the past.
