Hey all,
not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but I'll try anyways.
So I was walking my dog next to this pond that formed near my house due to all the rain we've been having, and I stumbled upon these little things.
They look like mega sized brine shrimp! I know there are other animals that look similar to brine shrimp (like sea monkeys), but how would they end up in a freshwater pond created by rain?
Also, just out of pure curiosity, would it be a bad idea to feed these guys to my fish? I know their living conditions aren't very healthy for the fish (stagnant, muddy, brown water), but would it harm my marine and freshwater fish if I fed these to them? It would be free food for them if I can feed them these things, haha!
I'd really appreciate the help guys.
PS: not sure if this matters, but I live in Northern California.
