The lighting debate is far from over. LEDs seem to be the dominant lighting type at the moment, but there are still options out there. This poll is to determine just how popular each lighting type or types are at the moment.

We don’t have a option for only t5’s
8 bulb fixture . I have zero restrictions to what will grow and thrive .

replacement cost and heat is the 2 main flaws .
Im okish with the heat, my main heater hasn't ran in almost 2 weeks @ this point. Now about month in, I'm curious about what my next electric bill is gonna look like.

It’s fairly easy to calculate
Each bulb has a wattage . Multiply by number of bulbs , again by the number of hours running .

convert to kWh

I can easily do the calculation, I'm just choosing to wait it out and see. I figure the bill will be a wash on the rough calculations I did already. I have a kill a watt, been meaning to put it on the tank outlet and see what I get.
