I currently have 2 Kessil A360xs on a 4' 120 gallon. I'm looking at adding 1 Glow and 1 Grow. Kessils are mounted 6.5" off the water. I want to mount the Blades at that height. There is no hood on tank.

Should I go with 39" or 48"?
Would 48" mounted 6.5" above tank have too much light spilling over.

I'm currently thinking the 39" would be best in this case.

Thoughts?

Yep, thought about the 21" model. 2 on each kessil. Price would be between that of 2 39"ers and the 48"ers. I'm in no hurry. I'll see what others do and like. Also not sure how well the hybrid mount will do on kessils
I think this is what I will do. . However, I am running just 4 T5 bulbs on my 75G at the moment, and the fixture is like 10 years old.

So I was thinking of trying 2 grows 2 glows of the 21 inch units on both sides of the brace instead of the T5. I do not know if 4 of these will work without supplemental lighting. And I have no idea if it is a good replacement for T5s alone.
