So what is your reefing confession. I have been stead fast on t5 lights. Mostly because they are cheap and plug and play. I've had good success and love the look of my tank. When I go to my lfs they are so blue, and I just couldn't get into it. Fast forward, I just put together a 55 gallon frag tank and put in a bunch of coral from my main display. One side of the tank I have a 24 inch t5, the other an LED . I have been going down and watching the tank during the last light cycle as lights are dimming and have never seen such a different color spectrum of my coral. It's like a whole new tank. Although I'm running 4 b+ one aquablue special and an actinic in the main display. Very blue t5 color, but doesn't even come close to the little aquamax prism. I can't imagine what It would look like with high end lights

I still like air drive skimmers with limewood air stones. I'm about to remove an ice cap K1 nano in favor of an old Mame skimmer I have. I buy the air stones on ebay dirt cheap.
I love it!
