Hard to tell from the pic but maybe Gracilaria Pacifica, a type of macro algae.

I don't think it is a macro. Is is soft like a cotton ball and will detach easily? I was slacking on maintenance and got overtaken. With diligent harvesting and blowing off the rocks I got it back under control pretty quick.

cotton candy is real close uif it is not it. I figured since it was growing so good, and in not the best conditions, that it must not be something worth having. It when from about the size of a softball to about the size of a head of cabbage over night. No, it was not overnight, but certainly fast. Oh well, get rid of it!! :wink:
