What is this white on my candy cane coral?

I noticed one of the heads has this white stringy stuff on it
Does anyone know what it is?

Its the white slime at the top of the head

Candy Cane Corals reproduce asexually and sexually. They are hermaphrodites, which means a Candy Cane coral is male and female. It can release egg and sperm into the water column.
