what is this thing??

can someone help id this thing? i have a bubble coral that hasnt been doing well the last while. i pulled it out once to dip it and found an asterina starfish on it. pulled that off. gave it another week or two and pulled it out again to dip it in revive. found this critter on it. was it the problem??
