Hello great reefers,

I’m still fairly new at identifying fish disease. This looks like an injury to me but would love to know what you all think is wrong with Dario the Rabbitfish.

He’s currently growing out in an anemone tank (btas) before going into the 200 gallon. Dario is about two inches, seems healthy other than the spot above his eye.

Any advice on treatment would help!

Thanks,
Felipe

Looks like a nick or injury with slight infection developed. Best treated in a separate tank with seachem neoplex or in tank with Ruby Rally Pro but neoplex will be more effective. Other could be due to urchin sting if you have one

I have one pincushion and one tuxedo urchin in there, so could be that. Would you treat in a separate tank for 3 weeks?
