What is this red thing?

Hello, I noticed this red tube like thing under a patch of zoas a few weeks ago. Not sure if its a sponge or tube worm, Any ideas?
It has grown a bit since I first noticed it. Thinking of just taking that rock out, dipping and seeing if it comes off.

BTW - disregard the bubble algae, I know what that is.

That's a large vermetid snail species - they don't seem to be harmful or spread like the smaller ones, but most people still remove them to be safe.
