Just picked up this neon green torch today and noticed something peeking in and out of it. Any idea what this can be? Look like aiptasia to me but living inside the torch skeleton?

Looks like a barnacle I can see the cirri going in and out, could also be a gall crab. Imo the damage itll do in its life is already done it wont cause any issues with your torch going forward. It would be easy to kill with a little superglue.

Appears to be either tunicate with inner creature or Vermetid- Video not long enough. You can place a dab of gel superglue over the opening and that should put an end to this .
