Bought Marco rock right away I put it in the tank, got 2 coral from Petco: mushroom and Kenya tree after a month in the tank with 3 fishes I ordered more Marco rock to start aquascaping I think is called, break the rock and redesign it, so the new rock came I broke it and since it wasn’t enough 10 lbs, I took out the 9 lbs that I had inside the tank, I broke it also in small pieces, that’s when I saw what I thought it was leftover food and moved it with a finger then saw that it was like a worm, needles to say I am still doing the rock design and that worm I left it outside much likely will die out of the water..

that bristleworm. tbh youll find people say there good and bad for the tank.... personally not fan. I toss them :(
I didn’t see anymore and as of now it’s been like 30 mins the Rick been out of the tank, so they die out of water and what can I do to get rid of it once I reintroduce it to the tank? I might try the Clorox thing that I saw in the channel bulk reef supply, is it good?

Agree it’s a bristleworm.
Harmless for the tank, I personally like them - apparently so did my pistol shrimp because he ate all of mine. I kinda miss the little guys.
So it’s not a pest? But it also doesn’t do anything good for the tank?

to some, it is a pest depending how much you feed (the more you feed, the more it reproduces/grows). people just don't like the idea of having a worm with bristles (kind of like a porcupine) roaming their tank potentially poking fish, heck, even corals.

personally i don't like it. but to each their own.
