Hello everyone, back when i got my CUC when I started the tank, I noticed what looked like a shell on top of the snail shell...but didn't think anything of it. I"ve not noticed that this little shell has some sort of animal living in it, and moves up and down, but it literally HAS NOT moved from its spot on the snail. I'm not sure if this is some sort of parasitic animal living off of the snail shell, or if it's something harmless. If anyone knows what this guy is, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hoof snail or similar (such as a slipper limpet) - harmless, and not a parasite:
As long as there's sufficient food in the tank for your turbo snail, the hitchhiker is not hurting your snail at all. I'm not sure if it's a slipper limpet, a hoof snail, or something similar, but either way, it's a sessile snail that basically hitches a ride and eats whatever it can where the turbo snail takes it.
